Tahoe River House with Hot Tub on private two riverfront acres
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at this home and are very grateful for the experience. The main floor is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with an open kitchen that flows easily into the dining and living room. There are four bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two upstairs. This made a really nice set up for two families sharing the space. The backyard was a real highlight — having direct access down to the Truckee River was such a treat and added something truly special to our stay. We appreciated the friendly, welcoming presence of Dave, the owner, next door. During the snowstorm, he kept the driveway well cleared, which was a big relief. Overall, this was a warm, comfortable, and well-cared-for home that we would happily return to."
"This is our second time staying at the Nash Cabin and both times have been perfect for our family. The size of the house is roomy for everyone to spread out and lounge with comfy furniture and a large dining room. The play structure in the backyard was perfect for kids. Beds and comfy, bathrooms are spacious and the kitchen is also perfect for any size meal. The host is communicative and responsive. There was a snow storm in the middle of our stay and their plow service ensured we could get in and out of the driveway without issue. "
Studio style cabin in Twin Bridges with Mountain View’s near Sierra Ski Resorts
2/10 Terrible
"Cabin was nice, but was difficult to find from the road and not all of the cabins signs are visible. The host was very hard to get in contact with and there were many issues with my stay. The biggest issue being that the property manager gave out the access code to my cabin to strangers that I did not know and did not let me know that they had given out the code. Another issue with my stay was that the water heater did not work as there was an issue with the power so we had cold water all throughout the cabin and it took a while for the manager to get somebody to fix said water heater causing me to cancel some of my plans during my stay. Some more minor issues included, The phone number given is not the correct phone number to the property manager as I called this number in relation to the problem with the water heater and I was told I had the wrong number. The Wi-Fi was another issue. the given Wi-Fi on both the listing and check-in paper in the cabin did not list the correct Wi-Fi network and I had poor cell service since the cabin is in the woods. So making calls or sending messages was difficult.Overall, I would not stay here again. While the property manager did respond in regards to the issues with the water, all of my other issues went unanswered, and I spent the second night of my trip, feeling very unsafe due to the fact that they had willingly given out information about my cabin. I attempted many methods of communicating, but almost all went unanswered."
Spacious, rustic home with modern appliances, arcade games, & dog friendly
10/10 Excellent
"The house was the right amount of space for our group. It was located away from town but most things were 10-15 min drives. When we arrived, it was cleaned up and welcoming. There were extra blankets and pillows in each closet of every room, which was helpful because it did get cold per our socal standards. Only mini complaint was that the trash cans were full from the previous guests, which makes sense if trash collection day hadn't passed by before our arrival, but we had to stuff our trash further into the bins and we didn't want to leave trash laying around. Overall, it was a great time and we are grateful for a weekend in Tahoe. "
Spacious 6-Bedroom Tahoe Cabin, 9 minutes to Sierra Ski Resort! Mountain Views
10/10 Excellent
"The house was very clean. The maintenance guy was readily available for any problems we encountered, though we didn’t have much. It was our first time experiencing heavy snow so we weren’t prepared for the drive up the hill and had to walk up for the first night but the next morning the maintenance guy cleared the road so that we were able to drive up to our cabin. After that we put chains on our tires and we experienced no trouble with driving up the hill even with snow on it. I was in direct contact with the owner, which made it so convenient. Her response time was fast. She was very helpful and made us feel at home.Everything was amazing. The house was beautiful. The scenery was beautiful. My family and I had a great time. We will definitely be booking next year. Thank you for making our trip most memorable. "
