The staff were exceptionally helpful and I want a shout out to Alex. The place was so clean and the bed sooo comfortable. It is an older building, with a quirky layout (sink outside the shower and toilet) in an ideal location next to the Frontenac, old Quebec and downtown core. Walking was so great, with lots of restaurants, cafes and stores for shopping. There is no elevator, but it was only 3 floors. I really enjoyed my 5 nights there.

The shower was very small, It was a lovely location, very quant, clean and unique Tiny coffee cups and as a tea drinker would have preferred a mug too, a kettle was supplied when asked I really loved it

Nice historic hotel in the heart of old town. We were so close to everything. The staff was helpful. We were able to check in early and they were helpful when our plans changed and needed to store our luggage until we left.

With an unbeatable location, quiet surroundings, simple-yet-elegant furnishings, and friendly but unobtrusive staff, this hotel comes highly recommended. Parking is a bit challenging, but that is not a unique problem in Old Québec. The staff had an excellent parking suggestion located less than two blocks away. This is an old-fashioned hotel in the best sense of that term.

This hotel is a perfect location if you want to stay in the heart of old Quebec. Located next door to the Chateau Frontenac, you are close to everything (shops, markets, restaurants, citadelle, funicular). The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property itself could use some upgrades which would be the only suggestion for improvement.

My wife and I always stay in that specific area as its close to everything. The place is clean and accommodating. We will surely return to Quebec City and this hotel or next-door Nomad is our choice for every time we're there. Book early otherwise those little hotels sell out fast. Recommended.

The lobby had a heavy scent. There was no hair conditioner to go with the shampoo. The 2nd floor bathroom is quite tiny, and the sink is in the bedroom. On a positive note, the room was clean, and the location was perfect - very close to sights and food. The staff was very helpful.
