"The hotel has a great location, but it is starting to show signs of wear and could use some attention. Some of the maintenance and repair work appears to have been done with less-than-ideal workmanship, which takes away from the overall appearance and experience. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in the shower also had a strong chemical smell and were not particularly pleasant to use. One additional note, and something I completely understand is beyond the hotel’s control, is the beach immediately behind the property. The very strong waves and significant amount of seaweed that accumulates on the beach make it mostly unusable during our stay. Again, I recognize that this is a natural condition and not something the hotel can prevent, but it is worth mentioning for guests who are specifically looking forward to enjoying the beach. Overall, we had a good stay, but there are several small improvements that could make this a superb experience, especially considering the nightly rates."

"The helpful staff was one of the many great assets of this property! The location was perfect for exploring San Juan. The room was clean and had all of the amenities. Since it’s a boutique hotel that echoes sound, I recommend taking a sound machine and/or small fan for white noise to get better sleep. Overall, we loved this hotel and highly recommended it for a short stay in the Old San Juan area:)"

"The only thing I can mention, is that the balcony which I chose since I was traveling alone are only available on the very first floor, where people can pass by going to different directions lof the hotel pool restaurants so at times I had to close all the curtains because of desired privacy. Perhaps to emphasize that the balcony and the Water view as mentioned in your advertisement is the water of the pool of the hotel and they all face small tables and the eyes"
