“Not awful but you just need to be aware of the shortcomings which are not really clear in the listing. Rooms have no windows and thus no natural light or ventilation. Walls are paper thin and the accommodation is part of a diving school so there is loud noise from about 6.00am with people upstairs walking above, doors slamming and people talking loudly in the hall. “I spent 3 nights in Sea Views, Queenscliff recently. What a charming place to stay. It was very clean, cosy and quirky. The bed was comfortable and there was a television in the bedroom. I was warm without lighting the fire (which was ready to put a match too). There were lots of windows and views to the water from the window seat in the lounge. “Although a beautiful building from the outside, the Guest House is looking a bit tired on the inside. We never saw a single person neither hotel staff nor another guest during our stay, which made for a rather strange experience. The room was small but reasonably comfortable, the bathroom was a good size. Wifi ok, but not many power points in the room. Queenscliff itself is a gorgeous old-style Australian town with some interesting shops and beautiful buildings.”

“The property was chosen as a site for an informal work retreat for 18 people and worked wonderfully well. The comparatively small group were able to have a room each with sufficient bathrooms. The open areas worked well for the meetings and discussions and the kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. Everything was clean and tidy and we were introduced to the property by the attentive property manager who checked to see how things were going.”

“The house is well set up and it was very clean. The verandah area is a great place to chat or relax with a book. The yard is secure and the 3 year old could play on the grass. We loved being able to walk to parks and the main street. ”
