「We wanted a quiet spot in the jungle surrounded by nature and got exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for luxury and lots of amenities it might not be the place for you, but if you want to be surrounded by the sites and sounds of the jungle, and close to some nice restaurants away from the touristy areas, its great. We heard howler monkeys in the mornings, saw spider monkeys in the evenings, and saw iguanas, coatimundi, and so many birds.」

「The Host(s) Mary and Jose are amazing and will make sure you have everything you need and will go the extra mile during your stay: Food Delivery, Ice Delivery, keep house clean ect.....Understand this....if you are going to stay here....you will need a Rental Car if you plan on seeing anything! Nearest town is Bacalar 30 minutes away! There is Nothing near you. The house pictures and accommodations are exactly what is portrayed! Beautiful and very relaxing!!!! If you are looking for peace and...

「The villa is just off the road (highway) connecting west and east side of island. Enough out of town to make you feel like you're in the jungle. The birds and lizards are super cool too see and hear as you eat the breakfast made by the onsite chef and brought to your villa in the morning. The host was really great at getting us everything we needed such as rental car, ebikes, suggestions on the island and activities. The villa itself was so clean and with the a/c was very comfortable. The inside...

「Property was beautiful , right on the lake. If the property to the left by Amura could have more respectful visitors for noise I would give it a solid 5* but as mentioned partying till 4 am is not appreciated. Waterports could be improved. Sup paddle was riveted incorrectly (asked for a different paddle and given one without a top - incredibly unsafe) and watched someone essentially sink themselves due to maintenance of sups. Dangerous to those visitors who don’t know to check sup before...

「Our cabin was comfortable, the staff was nice and the grounds were beautiful. 」

「This is a beautiful and private property in the jungle far from the crowds and noise. Perfect for a big family or group. Everything is new with great design features—huge pool and fully stocked kitchen We must not have been paying attention when we booked as we didnt realize the cabanas were way out of town and are a private estate without any services (there is a helpful caretaker Oscar on premises) but you are on your own for all food and drink. Buy in town! Also no wifi or cell signal so you...
