Beautiful, historic property in a fantastic location just off the main square. The property has been recently modernized with a beautiful bathroom, soundproofed windows, and great AC. Yet they carefully maintained the historic details, such as the frescoed ceiling in our room. Best hotel of our entire trip!

A truly unique boutique hotel with a wonderful blend of whimsical decor, elevated modern amenities and old town charm. Ideally situated within the city with direct views of the Duomo. Every detail is overseen by the very dedicated owner, Ms.Giuseppina- who truly cares for her guests with a keen sense of attention. Heartfelt thanks for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this hotel, 5 plus star!

We came to Ragusa for all the UNESCO sites and rich history we read about. When we go back it will be so stay at ad 1768. The beautiful architecture and exquisite curation of the public spaces and individual rooms speak to the passion that every individual gives to deliver a luxurious and special experience to their guests. The Donna Pippa room was so spacious with a balcony. I've never slept under an original fresca. The hotel’s shared living room and lobby made you not want to leave the hotel. The breakfast was unexpectedly fine dining with friendly service, offering traditional in season local cuisine. It’s location was great to explore the old town’s churches, piazzas and gardens. Our last afternoon, it rained very hard and I was never so happy to spend the time at ad 1768.
