Wreck of an old boat, sitting just off the river side at Motney Hill, North Kent. Part of the Riverside Country Park, this coastal walk takes in a varied amount of wildlife, from many species of birds who dwell in the salt marshes and mudflats to the seals often seen sitting on the little islands dotted around the estuary.
The somewhat stark but beautiful industrial backdrop of Motney Hill which encompasses a thriving port, nature reserve and rusting shipwrecks all in one environment. A great place to stroll, capturing photos and watching the wildlife, this is a great part of the north Kent coastline.

The rusting hulk of this old boat sits at the edge of the peninsula walk at the Country Park. Part of the parks 247 acres, there are some amazing sights to see from wildlife to the remains of many boats dotted along the shoreline. With plenty of parking and a cafe at the parks entrance I would recommend this for a leisurely stroll. Or to see more it makes a great bike ride. #Beachbound #Abandoned
