“A friend and I stayed here as we are walking the Pilgrims Way. A fantastic find. Friendly staff, really nice and cosy rooms, quiet at night. Had dinner in the bar, lovely food and great service. As other reviews say, breakfast was a bit slow, possibly the kitchen not the service staff as they seemed on the ball. Breakfast was v tasty anyway when we did get it. Overall definitely recommend ”

“I stayed at the King Hotel for a couple of nights while my wife was at Benenden hospital for an operation. The hotel room was very clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels, shower gel, coffee & tea and biscuits for a two night stay. Really good shower in the en suite. Parking right by the room ( chalet type). Free wi fi as well. The Indian Restaurant ''The Raja of Kent'' is next door to the hotel and I went there for a meal on the first night. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the……
