Great Property for Get Away!

For our conference, we opted to not stay at the host hotel and that was the best decision!! This property had everything we needed and the backyard and deck was able to accommodate visiting guests!! Grilling outside with lake view was awesome!! Very convenient to convention center.

Lakeside oasis with convenient access to town

We were thrilled with the location with access to the local area as well as the highway, while being in a serene and comfortable home. The home itself was also appropriately furnished for lake living, and we were pleasantly surprised by the carport! The owner was lovely, extremely responsive.

Raleigh Fish and boat show

We loved the view of the lake and the Dogs loved running around the large yard. The beds were very comfortable.Abby was very responsive and in fact we plan to return the end of Feb. and will stay again and again at this house!

Great place

We stayed here for 5 nights with our family of 5, grandparents and 2 dogs. It’s nestled back from the road, very quiet and cozy. Great access to the lake. And extremely close to downtown Raleigh. The house was very clean and communication with the host was excellent. Easiest check out process we’ve ever had. We highly recommend! And would definitely stay here again.

Nice place!

Very comfortable, lots of room and privacy, quality bedding and appliances. Great deck and view of the lake. Caught a few bass . Would definitely rent it again.

We will be back!

This house was exactly what we needed for our weekend with our family in Raleigh. It was in a safe, cute neighborhood, and everywhere we needed to drive was an easy drive all weekend! The space was perfect, and the beds were all incredibly comfortable! If it's not Pollen seasin in March, the backyard would be amazing, but the view is beautiful and private! Our dogs also loved the fenced in backyard and space! The communication was probably the best part--the owners are very responsive and easy to work with!

The listing is spot on with the real time depiction of the property. It’s in a tucked away corner of Raleigh. The property itself is beautiful, and the host Abby was receptive and reliable. We will definitely make this a yearly trip!

We loved the backyard and lake! We saw a fox, rabbit, and lots of geese. It was peaceful and quiet there! The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. Overall, a comfortable and nice place to stay very close to Raleigh activities!

Life threw us a big curveball when my family had just arrived in the Outer Banks for vacation and within a few hours the mandatory evacuation was put in place with Hurricane Erin on the way. We decided to head inland and wanted somewhere where we could get a mix of nature and excitement and this was the perfect spot. The back yard overlooking the lake is beautiful and relaxing, and it was just a few minutes from downtown Raleigh and a short distance to some great hiking trails. Abigail was a great communicator and also arranged for us to check in early, which was a huge help as we had our 4 year old son and dog with us and had spent a lot of time in the car. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Raleigh area!

Great Home!

We had a great time at the lake house. It was easy to find and clean upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend with friends. The only feedback we have was that the bathroom in the hall didn't have a door latch which was not ideal but didn't necessarily impact the overall stay. The hosts were communicative. You would not have guessed you were less than 10 minutes from downtown Raleigh here. It was wonderful.

We loved our stay!!! We had three generations there and everyone was very happy! The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was very private. The yard is fantastic and the lake is so pretty. We had fun by the fire pit each evening. Fantastic property! We will be back
