“Das Hotel ist recht schlecht gepflegt und es fühlt sich trotz superwetters feucht an. Im Restaurant schaut man leider auf den Parkplatz und nicht auf das Meer. Auch war es recht hektisch, ständige Anreisen vo. Besuchern und noch zudem auf Koes sorgten für Unruhe. Insgesamt für knapp 500 Euro die Nacht sehr unverhältnismäßig teuer.”

“We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. We were probably going to miss dinner one night but the staff said they’d put in an order for us at 8:15 pm so we could roll in with a reserved seat and eat before they closed. Nice! “The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“Truly enjoyed my stay here. What stood out was how helpful the staff were! We had a delayed flight which resulted in us arriving long after check in period had closed. We called the hotel and communicated our worries. They were more than accommodating and allowed us to check in and left instructions to make it a smooth process. Really appreciated their assistance and the stay as well!”

“Unser Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Bett und Matratze außerdem sehr bequem. Die Aussicht aufs Meer wunderbar. Frühstück üppig und frisch zubereitet”

“The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.”

Il lodge è una bella struttura immersa nel verde, offre una colazione super abbondante e con ingredienti di qualità in una lounge che ha la vista sul verde. A 10 minuti di auto c'è una taverna (Applecross Inn) dove fare un'ottima cena a base di pesce freschissimo.”
