The lodge is tucked away on the back side of Phantom Lake Ranch. This 640 acre ranch is complete with pine forests, meadows, rock outcroppings, tons of wildlife, private hiking trails and various lakes! The lodge is spacious and perfectly designed for large groups. Enjoy time together cooking meals, playing games, enjoying the wood burning fireplace, hiking, exploring and reconnecting with nature.
Come and relax in the lodge's stunning great room! With a vaulted ceiling, wood burning fireplace, and a dining table large enough to fit the whole group, you're sure to have a great time with friends and family without feeling crowded!
The balcony off the living room gives you a full view of the meadow below, where you can watch for moose, deer, turkey and other wildlife. In addition to the indoor dining area, there is a large picnic table located here and the courtyard in the center of the house is perfect to enjoy some meals outside on those raining days.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the food prep materials you need, as well as a selection of spices and plenty of counter space to make cooking meals a breeze.
There are 4 bedrooms tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house. Three of the four bedrooms have attached bathrooms for convenience and privacy, and the last bedroom has a bathroom right next door in the hallway. Bedrooms two and three also have a shared deck to enjoy!
Ready to challenge your friends to an intense ping pong tournament? Do you want to show up your brother in a game of pool, or sit down for a friendly game of poker? Then head on down to the game room! Located in the 3 bay garage, it's easy to fit the whole crew.
While you're staying at the lodge, you have access to the ranches private hiking trails and three small lakes... including the infamous Phantom Lake! One lake is stocked for catch and release fishing (typically stocked the end of May/beginning of June, so don't plan to be successful prior to that). The lakes on the ranch can not be used for recreation other than fishing, but Dowdy Lake and West lake are both less than 10 min away and are perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. There are no swimming areas available in Red Feather, the closest swimming lake is Horsetooth reservoir in Fort Collins.
Bring your frisbee golf discs along to enjoy our private 18 hole frisbee golf course. Or check out some discs from us if this is your first time!
In addition to what Phantom Lake Ranch has to offer (though you could easily spend your whole trip exploring the ranch!), Red Feather Lakes has 4 public lakes for hiking and fishing, a breathtaking golf course in fox acres, and 2 additional frisbee golf courses.
