“We had a very bad experience. The place was nice enough but the host was incredibly rude and accused us of causing damage, which we did not. He could not provide evidence of any damage when asked to so. Would not book any accommodation through stayz ever again. We are still trying to refute a fraudulent charge. The customer services through stayz is very poor.”

“Overall, the room seemed tidy, but the room floor mat was too dirty and the hotel did not provide slippers. I was surprised that it was my first time staying in a hotel and there were no slippers provided. Our family walked around the room barefoot, and the soles of our feet were gray-black. You can imagine how dirty the room floor mats are.”

“Great little cottage, very comfortable and clean. Nice to have the open fireplace with plenty of firewood available on a cold evening. Lovely touch with the fresh bread and homemade jams for the morning. Secure yard for the dog, a bit of a mix up through the booking but all sorted out with owner easy enough. Great base to explore the area ”

“Property was listed as having a queen bed, 2 singles and a queen sofa bed. What it actually had was a queen bed (which was comfy, clean, enough blankets, all good), a sofa bed which wasn’t great to sleep on, and one small thin mattress over a slab of wood basically which was meant to be one of the single beds, and no second single bed. My sister had the worst first night’s sleep and almost went and booked a room elsewhere for the second night. We actually thought we’d booked into a retro themed……

“Beautiful peaceful spot & beautifully appointed. It had everything we needed even coffee, chocolate & snacks. We had a fabulous stay thank you ”

“Overall the cottage was quite nice. There is however, room for improvement. Outside light not working, bathroom light not working, two of the lamps either didn't have globes or globe was burnt out. One of the bedrooms has a fan however no dial for the fan to be switched on. Cottage has no stove top or oven so had to make do with a microwave settings. At least an airfryer should be provided. There was a power outage and although the host was aware, they didn't seem concerned about any……
