“The rooms are always clean. This visit the hotel was nicely decorated for halloween. The food was good, but the bar service was a little slow, mainly because it was understaffed. The staff are very nice and we always enjoy our time there. The hot tub is not working and it truly needs to be removed as an amenity, as it has been out of order for our last three visits over the year.

“Everything was great except for my check in. The guy at the counter, Dillan, set me up on the 6th floor near the elevators (605). I explicitly voiced my concern about elevator noise, which he dismissed outright. Turns out I was not able to get the rest I needed due to the elevator noise as well as other mechanical noises coming from the roof. Very disappointing.
Apart from that, the hotel was wonderful and the the staff were very accommodating and kind. Newark is a quaint little town, and I……
