“The appeared to be a little rough around the collar, not as professional as most places. However, the stay itself was good. The rooms are nice, as are the amenities such as sitting room with fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was quite terrible some items being overcooked others items being cold. The wine and cheese from 5 to 6 was a very nice gesture, I enjoyed that. Also loved having the wonderful fireplace on the rainy night.”

“Staffer's were courteous, respectful, and extremely friendly. Breakfast was second to none and hospitality was superb. House keeping was excellent with daily cleaning and garbage disposal. Although, my wife and I don't drink alcohol, the bar tenders were very friendly. The front lobby/waiting area and the reading room with the fireplace was absolutely stunning. “Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch……

“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Canal side Inn. So did my furry companion Frankie, who was well greeted by the owners and other pets alike. Guests were equally friendly, those with 2 feet. The room was lovely for a single traveler and dog. It was especially nice being in a residential neighborhood with the canal right outside the doorstep, lovely scenery, easy walking distance to Rehoboth Beach Perfect four-day vacation to clear the mind with easy access to all that you would want in……

“I really like the room structure and the sea view with large floor-to-ceiling windows, but the cleanliness of the items in the room is not enough, the equipment is old, everything else is okay.”

“I liked the room and the location at the end of the boardwalk when it is so crowded. It felt very safe. I wish it included Roku TV so I could log onto Netflix and other streaming services.”

“I personally think this hotel is the best value in Dewey Beach. It’s not on the ocean however it’s only two blocks away. One block from Bottle &Cork and two blocks from the Starboard.”
