"I was very upset about the gym situation. Each time I went to the gym it was closed. I stayed for 4 nights and continuously had to ask about the health club and each time there was an issue as to why it wasn’t open. Also, the pictures do not do justice to the health club. There is no free weight area. Just 2 treadmills and an Olympical. Secondly, my bathroom faucet in the shower was coming apart even after I noticed that the cocking job was done poorly. The room was spacious but our AC was not working properly. The room always felt humid and warm even at max AC power. The windows also do not open. Maybe we just got a bad room but I was very disappointed given the decent reviews. The house keeping staff was fantastic. The best part of my stay was the woman assigned to our room. She was polite, always made sure we had water and kept our room neat. Location wise, it was okay. There are food options close to the hotel and it’s about 10 minute walk to the subway station. "

"Great location! Close to station and wangfujing shopping area. Very clean, and good view from our window, great size room too ! The only downside was, need more staff that speak better English! The only people that speak good English was the reception. Breakfast was good for me but there’s no English breakfast for my British husband. Big bed but a bit too hard for us, and aircon need to be colder."

"Firstly, I was booking non smoking room but it was smoking smell in the room while I checked room 1218, although I have double check with the staff before checking in. I talked about the issue to the front desk then asking me to move to 1607 ( non smoking room) on the second day. I have spent time to move this 1607 by myself. Finally, this room was ok. Secondly, regarding swimming pool, they asked the guest to purchase their swimming cap to swimming, guest cannot swimming without swimming cap. But no any notice to let us know while we booked the room regarding swimming cap. It was unreasonable request to the guest. We already spent decent money for staying this hotel, their services value must match their fees. Plus, the swimming pool is a third party operating not belongs pan pacific hotel Beijing. If we know this before, we would not book this kind of hotel. Should be clearly to the agreement otherwise will be deem breach agreement.Overall, the stay for this time was ok only. I hope that they can apologize for this unexpected experience. Thank you!"
