Beware!! Horrible owner/host
The owner isn’t an honest person and she’s rude. We booked for 4 days and it was a long travel day to get there. We didn’t get back to her message on that day of travel, she said she was going to cancel our reservation that was paid in FULL. We called her when we got to the house and she said she’ll take care of the cancelation issue. The next day we get a message saying our reservations were modified for only 2 days and said we violated the house rules by having a party and having extra people there. That’s not true. We didn’t get to the house until 10 pm. We called VRBO and was on the phone for hours the day after we got there. The supervisor told us they violated the rules and not to leave. The next day she called and said we needed to be out. She canceled our reservations! She was going to call the police if we didn’t get out. She refuses to give us any refund. She then says we violated the house rules by refusing to send our id. That’s not true either. Not once did she ask for ID. She already sent instructions on getting into the house. She was looking for an excuse from the beginning to cancel us. As we were leaving, the housekeeper was there. She asked if we were ok so I told her what was going on when she asked and she said the property had been rented out for awhile. So the owner is a liar. If there was a mess up with the reservations she could have told us. So she’s getting double the rent And not returning our money. I will not rent from this person again!
