Lovely stay great hosts

Lovely villa with great views. Hosts were great and the breakfast was spot on each morning. We were five adults which was ok for space/ beds but not ideal, nor suited to parents and kids.

Beautiful Villa with amazing views

We had an amazing holiday at Carme Villas. The hosts and staff are really Friendly and work so hard. The property throughout is immaculate. The views across the gardens and sea are spectacular you couldn't ask for a better location I would highly recommend. Would also recommend a car to travel around the beautiful island.

Schöne Villen, sehr sauber, sehr ruhige Lage mit netten Vermietern. Der eigene Pool ist klasse, wenn auch nicht sehr groß haben wir ihn gerne genutzt. Er wurde täglich gereinigt. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig. Auto auf jeden Fall notwendig. Gerne wieder. Jassas.

Schöne Villa in traumhafter Lage

Das Objekt besteht aus 6 Doppelhäusern und einem weiteren Gebäude mit Rezeption und Gastronomie, die im Halbkreis an einem Hang oberhalb Rethymnos inmitten eines Olivenhains errichtet wurden. Jedes Haus verfügt über eine eigene kleine Terrasse mit kleinem Pool von der man den herrlichen Meerblick genießen kann. Darüber hinaus gibt es ein weiteres kleines Gebäude mit Fitnessraum und Kinderspielsachen. Katharina und ihr Team sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus war sehr sauber und wir wurden mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk begrüßt. Warum trotzdem nur 4 Punkte? Man merkt dem Haus und den Außenanlagen langsam ihr Alter an. Leichte Schimmelspuren im Bad, defekte Fliesen am Pool und abgewohnte Möbel trüben den sonst positiven Gesamteindruck. Leider nimmt man es auch in Sachen Sicherheit nicht so genau. Nachdem mehrfach der FI-Schalter im Sicherungskasten ausgelöst und ich nach einiger Suche den Kühlschrank als Verursacher ermittelt hatte, wollte der herbeigerufene Elektriker nicht den Kühlschrank reparieren oder tauschen, sondern begann den FI auszubauen und zu überbrücken und das, obwohl über den FI auch die gesamte Pool-Elektrik abgesichert war. Nur durch Protest konnten wir das gefährliche Vorhaben stoppen und haben die zweite Woche unseres Urlaubs zwar sicher aber mit regelmäßigen Stromausfällen verbracht. Der versprochene neue Kühlschrank wurde bis zu unserer Abreise jedenfalls nicht geliefert. Wenigerschön war außerdem, dass die Abdeckung über einer der Frischwasser-Düsen im Poolboden gebrochen war, so dass zwei unserer Kinder sich Schnittwunden an den scharfkantigen Bruchstellen zugezogen haben. Auch hier ist die zugesagte Reparatur bis zu unserer Abreise nicht erfolgt. Außerdem fällt auf, dass die Küche im Vergleich mit anderen Objekten dieser Kategorie sehr spärlich ausgestattet ist. Das ist nicht schlimm, könnte sogar beabsichtigt sein, denn die Chefin und ihr Team kochen einfach zu gut, als das man sich im Urlaub selbst in die Küche stellen muss! Man kann neben dem im Preis enthaltenen Frühstück auch das Abendessen im Restaurant einnehmen oder, wer es etwas privater mag, sich das Abendessen auf die eigene Terrasse liefern lassen. Es gibt vor allem typisch griechische Gerichte, mit frischen lokalen Zutaten und einige andere internationale, meist mediterrane Leckereien zu absolut fairen Preisen.
