Lovely Apartment

We had a very comfortable stay. The proximity to cafes, restaurants and Shopping is excellent. You couldn’t stay in a better area. The apartment was a lovely temperature, the beds were very comfy and we enjoyed a cuppa on the balcony watching the Aurora which was a highlight. Parking was easy and free if you park a few streets up from the apartment.

Good Location

This place was in a fantastic location near the cathedral and it was very spacious. Just to be more clear, this is a 2 bedroom and 1 1/2 bathroom place (the upstairs full bathroom was very large). The master bedroom has an additional child size bed in the room. The laundry is downstairs and shared with others, not in the apartment, but we were able to use it. There’s some confusion about the check in time. VRBO says 4:00pm, but the email from the owner with the entry code says 3:00pm. We asked if we could show up early because we all arrived at 10:00am exhausted, they said no. So we showed up at 3:00pm and the place wasn’t ready. They firmly told us check in time was 4:00pm. I explained about their own email. So we had to wait and suffer. ☹️

Delightful apartment in a perfect location!

It just doesn’t get any more conveniently located than this wonderful Reykjavik apartment. It’s comfortable, beautifully decorated, and easy walking distance to everywhere you want to be. We rented a car and always found parking nearby, often right in front of the house!

Gorgeous apartment in prime location

You can not go wrong with this sophisticated, comfortable apartment in the city center. A small issue at the beginning of our stay was quickly corrected by the extremely nice owner. As a bonus, the views are spectacular.

Remarkable Stay!

We couldn’t have asked for anything better than this perfectly located property. I scored big points with my wife and daughter for the coffee house vibe and artsy decor. We were able to walk to countless sites and restaurants, and even got a glimpse of the northern lights out of one of the bedroom skylights.

Wonderful Accommodations and Great Location

The apartment was perfect for our family and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The only drawback was that we had a rental car and couldn't locate free parking anywhere nearby.

Great Stay in Reykjavik

The apartment was so lovely and fun to stay in. The location is perfect for walking everywhere in Reykjavik. I will say if you are renting a car, parking in any neighborhood is challenging. I hope we have the opportunity to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay in this apartment with no rental car!

Great place to stay in Reykjavík

Great location! Convenient to all the tourist attractions, stores, restaurants. Lovely, vintage place but comfortable and spotless with all the amenities you could want. We contacted the host with a couple of questions and got immediate responses.

Amazing location. Artful design.

This location was perfect. The condo itself is spacious and very artfully composed. Simply staying in Lisbet’s space was a unique one of a kind experience. The airflow through the space was wonderful. Beds were also very comfortable and the kitchen was great for cooking any meals we made there.

Wonderful stay

We stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week with a family of four while visiting the Reykyavik/Reykyanes area and the Southeast. The apartment is splendid, light and airy and fantastically located. It is spacious, well equipped, and has a great vibe about it. One thing to note is that very recently they changed the free parking boundaries but we were still able to park for free a few streets away. This may be something to keep an eye on in future if you have a car. Overall, a fantastic stay, a great apartment and a wonderful city and country. I would love to visit again and highly recommend this apartment.

Good location

Great location to visit the city. Parking for free on the side street was easy and convenient. We enjoyed the Independence parade from our windows and could walk to restaurants and shops easily.

Family trip to Iceland! This apartment was fantastic! Huge! So unique and location was fabulous! Walking distance to everything you could need! Amazing bakery right around the corner! Location Location Location!

Wonderful spot for our family vacation to Iceland! Two twin beds for our sons in one room and a king bed for my husband and I in another. Additionally, there is a twin bed in the master bedroom as well and a huge couch in the living room if we had needed it. Our youngest son really enjoyed the grand piano, we loved the convenience of this artistically, beautifully appointed home in the middle of such a quaint area of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and gift shops. The owner has a very helpful list of all things needed and suggestions to make your vacation great! Take your family to Iceland now for an unforgettable week on what seems like an entirely different planet! Takk!!

Beautiful apartment!

My parents and I loved our stay here! The apartment is spacious and modern, with plenty of space to spread out after a long day sightseeing. A glass of wine on the balcony in the evening was the perfect way to wind down the day. The kitchen offered everything we needed to make a meal and the shops/coffee/bakeries were all very nearby.
