We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. The lodge was clean and quiet with great views down the valley. Getting into the hot tub when we came back from visiting the local sites was a joy, lying there listening to the birds and watching the red kites fly overhead. There was only space for one car so Im not sure where you would park if two couples trvelled separately. All in all a nice lodge in a nove location within a ten minute drive to the red kite feeding station and Rhayader with its shops and pubs.
