"When i returned home, i noticed that the amount that had been taken from my bank account was more than the itemised invoice. I challenged this but was told there was nothing they can do about it. It looked as though someone had been charging drinks to my room. Very disappointed. I won't be returning. "

"Staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean ,tidy and lovely and warm. Had a lovely view of the castle and shops were handy. Was easy to find and so handy for the A66 to the lakes. Will definitely visit again. "

"We stayed at Smithy Cottage for Christmas week and had the best time! The cottage is so cosy and is in such a great location! A 5 min walk from the pub and only a 20 min drive from Keswick! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"The property was walking distance to the centre of Penrith, which was a lovely market town, surrounded by a stunning landscape. This landscape could be enjoyed from the property too,"

"This cottage was cute and cozy. Host was very nice, welcomed me and took care of all my needs while I was staying including locating a recycle bin close by. WiFi was great so I could do some work whilst there. Warm and compact accommodation. Everything is new and working. I was not there in the warm weather but I think if you get a nice day the patio would be delightful to sit out and enjoy the view and there has to be some lovely walks near by as well. Highly recommend and 5 stars for me if you want a nice little cottage. Thank you Anna."
