“Lovely room at front of hotel included a balcony with seating to enjoy the view of the high street and front of hotel. Good location for Ullswater in centre of Pooley Bridge. Onsite restaurant had good varied menu and full breakfast options were delicious. Comfortable bed and onsite parking. Staff friendly and very helpful.”

“The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. “Nice relaxing stay. Everyone was really welcoming perfect spot for exploring. Food was really good. Nice spacious comfy room. ”

“Comfortable and good food with quick service. Plenty of sockets in the room, in useful places, which is great when travelling for business and having work to do. There wasn't a desk as it was a small single room, but there was a socket, with USB charger on the wall by the bed and a cushion to use, so working sitting on the bed was comfortable and convenient.”
