「The room was very comfortable and clean. All members of staff very helpful. I really loved the water and milk dispensers to reduce extra waste. Bathroom was ever so slightly worn around the edges, but otherwise perfectly clean. Would definitely stay again.」

「A lovely, characterful old building on the edge of the Lake District, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, helping us feel right at home. It is very convenient as a base, being on the road between Penrith and Pooley Bridge with a direct bus route between the two, going as far as Windermere, and for drivers it is a good place to access most parts of the Lake District, being not far from the M6 and A66, making access to Carlisle and the Scottish borders equally easy. The room was very clean...
