“This was end of Day one on the Coast to Cost bike ride. Staff great, no breakfast included in rate, bike was brought upstairs into room. Great location - it’s a popular working pub with parking so busy until late evening at the weekends. Solid value for money, great room size, could do with some investment to update rooms.”

“Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith. Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog. Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden. Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales. ”
