An overall feeling of neglect. Little organisation finding staff - is the office out of use or is the cafe their base? Entrance drive shoody and neglected. Some effrot to update but still requires considerable work to be done for the chrages required. Inside room several parts not cleaned, very spartan, torn curtain - do these people really care about running a business??? Will not return!

CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN !!!!!! NOW!!!!!

This accommodation is ABSOLUTETLY DISGUSTING!!!! The photos on Hotels.Com do not represent the accommodation at all. I paid for 3 nights and only stayed one, this was due to not being able to get anything else. This place should be shut down. The rooms were beyond appalling and the actual park was full of rubbish just everywhere, old vans, mouldy curtains, broken glass in the ranch sliders, that also didn't slide without throwing your back out, pubic hair and snot all over the walls, the top of the fridges have never been cleaned, the main curtains were hanging off the rails, the dust on the tv and sky unit was disgusting, the remote didn't work. Hotels. Com remove this from your website!!!! I

Handy to both Nelson and Mapua. Good beds and reasonable clean inside. Bones and rubbish at the door in the stone garden. Old van rotting at the back window. No milk. No flannels. No air-conditioning

We arrived to check in but they thought we were meant to arrive the day before. We then had to wait for them to clean a room. Unfortunately they didn’t tell us this so we had to go back and ask what was happening. The place was great a party from this

We Fame to greenwood, no body there. 3 pm. But in the shop there was a young girl a she didn’t know anything. She could not use the computer, because there was no Wi-Fi. Before 4 days later. So she promised, not to change us. She promised it will be canceled when the Boss came.

Good amenities, HOWEVER...

Comfortable place, clean and most of the things are new (curtains,etc). The only thing I would suggest is for the management to remind guests regarding noise control at night upon checking in. There was a crowd of people that are very loud at night when we were there. And to please have one rubbish bin for kitchen and one for toilet. And REMINDER not to pay online through expedia as they ask you to pay it upfront on arrival due to some issues with expedia. Although expedia will refund the payment made on booking, it still takes a bit of your time chasing up on the phone for the refund when you finish your holiday, to which for me was very significant as I would really prefer not to add up tasks to do after my holiday.

Nelson Get-away

Very friendly owners, and accommodation was great. Interesting local artisans and wineries. Be careful turning in from the Main Road as it is quite close to a busy intersection.

Best motel in nelson

home away from home staff were lovely and very friendly very safe for kids to play what i loved the most they had a shop at the back door you could get any think you wanted ,we had trouble with our car the staff went the extra mile to help us late a night . we have stayed at a lot of motels in nelson this one is the best in nelson .

Right on the highway and near the speedway

Tidy and clean motel unit but noisy. The owners 4 kids hang around the motel units till late in the evening and one banged on our door one evening asking to fix his broken bike chain. Slightly annoying. The noise of the speedway is also something to be aware of.

Family suites are great!

We had a family suite (3 kids). The room was fine and the staff was friendly. The only missing thing was there was no cooking hub & pans (only an electric frying pan) so only very basic meals unless you go to the communal kitchen.
