Tamika at the front desk was really wonderful - it was a late check in for us and she was swamped. She was very delightful and got us checked in swiftly. We found the property to be very clean and accommodating. The bed was super comfy. Thanks Hopewell Hilton - we are glad we are members!

The refrigerator in my room did not work the tub all the yellow paint was coming up when I took my shower had to go out and get shower shoes the cleaning lady didn’t even give clean towels on even knock on the door to see if I wanted my room clean

While our room was overall satisfactory, it was NOT the room we paid for (king with a jacuzzi), so we were "upgraded" to a suite (no jacuzzi.) That in itself was a bit of a disappointment. Additionally, we experienced several maintenance related issues while we were there. First, we had an issue with the key/door knob, causing us to need to go down TWICE to the front desk for assistance. (The staff was great, and offered us a complimentary breakfast voucher for the inconvenience). Once in the room, were were impressed with the size and amenities, but then we went to turn on the bathroom light. It was so dim that it barely looked like it was on. Thankfully, the vanity lights helped alleviate that a little bit, but overall, the lighting just wasn't ideal for a bathroom. Overall, if in the area, I might first look at surrounding hotels before heading back to the Hilton Garden Inn. For what we paid, what we experienced was a bit of a disappointment.

Nice stay. The breakfast buffet is not really a buffet.... actually kind of wierd how they do it , you order everything through the one waitress and she gets it for you..... seems like it could be more efficient and a little easier on the staff. But they did great thank you.

I stayed in this hotel many times between 2008 and 2017 and fully enjoyed every stay. I returned March 2024 and found the hotel getting very tired. The staff don’t seem to be very motivated or happy. The company I work for also noticed this and has recommended my next stay in the area is at springhill suites in chester.

What I didn’t like? I always prefer staying at the Hiltons across the US. The only problem I had was with the breakfast in the morning. The food was great but the staff was unattentive and the wait time for getting the food and cutlery was very long. Other than that. John Giansante

Checked in and was given a smoking room. Reservation requested non smoking room. Not enough hot water to take one shower … This 1/2 shower for 1 and no shower for the second person. Upon checkout we expressed in a very civil manner re the hot water and they ‘knew about it’. It’s not our nature to complain…however we do feel there should be a certain level of compensation since we could not properly clean ourselves with a shower. I did call the front desk to report the lack of hot water and they said they wood call me back and never did. We have time share with Hilton Grand Vacations and try to remain loyal. Right now we are at Hiltons Embassy Suites in Brunswick, Georgia and the experience so far is just the opposite. Quite nice!

Toilet is so low to the ground; it looks like it belongs in a preschool. The shower did not work without great effort. Thought it might break. The rest was really nice.

Nice hotel; would have preferred 4 towels in a room that sleeps 4. Elevators are extremely slow and fitness center left something to be desired. Proximity to places we needed and the interstate is great.
