“Staff was very friendly, helpful. Rooms not very well maintained. Not very clean. Breakfast was not really breakfast. Lobby area too small.”

“Wonderful historic hotel with all the charm of 1940’s Enjoyed the spa, but timing was a little off to get both a massage and use of facilities. Prior guests trash and towels were left outside our room. Otherwise, recommend!”

“Beautiful hotel. Very clean. The staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“My non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. I had to leave after one night even though I paid for 2 nights”

“This was a pretty standard hotel. The bathroom had been remodeled but appeared to be unfinished. There were refillable dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was pretty standard. There was a waffle machine, biscuits, sausage and gravy and numerous breads. No fresh fruit. Coffee, tea and juice. OK for one night while traveling”

“ok”

“The beds were springy, the breakfast was great, the hot tub was broke and the water was gross, the parking lot had trash all over.”

“From the moment I got there, I was greeted in a friendly manner by the desk clerk. He engaged me in conversation and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean and made up nicely. I had a great view of the parking lot where my truck was and that was nice. The bed was comfortable and I would have slept great but super loud motorcycles on nearby I-70 would wake me up. Not the hotel's fault, just saying. The hot breakfast the next morning was delicious and well maintained. Even……

“Clean room and comfortable bed”

“My visit was disgusting. The hallway and entryway look like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The staff was nonexistent. The person who checked me in was virtual and it took a long time because she couldn’t see my drivers license. When I got to my room, the bedspread was either dirty or stained. There were long hairs in the sink. Those two things alone made me question if anything was clean. I was exhausted and I knew there was no person to talk to so I just went to bed. I slept in my clothes……

“Bed was very comfortable and rooms were clean. Great coffee and friendly staff.”

“I’m not one to complain, but this place was horrible! The gentleman that ran the front desk and took my call about the air conditioner not working in my room had the worst attitude! I will never stay there again!”

“The staff was amazing, we left our wallets in one of the rooms and they help us out and returned them. Added a joke or two to ease the anxiety. Max was amazing.”

“All in all, it was a good stay. The gentleman that ran the place made sure we had our key even though we showed up late. My only complaint was that the air conditioner/heater did not have a working constant fan button. Button would not work. Other than that, it was an easy stay and quiet for the family”
