住宿简介

Cabin near River, Firepit, Family-friendly, WiFi, Great Location, Veteran owned!

  • Enjoy a relaxing family getaway at this cozy mountain cabin with a short walk to the river. It's an easy drive to caverns, the zoo, farmer's markets, wineries, state and national parks, and historic Luray and Front Royal. Enjoy hanging out in the game room playing darts, pool, foosball, surfing the internet, or watching TV. Fire up the grill, and at night relax by the firepit and roast some marshmallows in the peace and quiet of the mountains. Wake up and have a fresh cup of coffee in the charm of our kitchen that contains the original cabin logs from the 1800s. Or sit outside on the deck and you might just see the deer wander nearby. Whatever you do, you'll be sure to make memories for years to come! Veteran owned and operated!

A very cute and comfy property. Everything was as described. There was an initial issue with the AC so we did not have it the first night but the owner made it right as soon as humanly possible. The rest of the stay was great.

It felt like we were in a treehouse with a solid foundation. We enjoyed the many ferns in back of the house and it felt like we were in the treetops! Our stay was very peaceful.

The Green River Cabin was a convenient location to where our family wanted to visit and take in the sites and hikes off of Skyline Drive. Grocery pickup at Walmart was only about 15 mins away and the Thornton Gap entrance to Skyline Drive was a 20-25 minute drive. The rental listing was accurate and the house had everything we needed for our trip. Our kids enjoyed the games and extra toys in the guest bedroom to play with. Host was very prompt with communication and checking in as needed on our stay.

The description says it all. The cabin was great, my family and I loved it. It was very clean and had a great setting, surrounded by ferns and trees. It's close to Luray so you can get a small downtown experience and it's close to the caverns. We drove and parked at the metro (1.5 hours away) and spent a day in DC also. Exactly what I was looking for to be able to visit family for a week. Would definitely stay again. The hosts keep you informed and responded quickly to any messages. We lost power for about an hour due to a severe thunderstorm, the power company was on it and restored power super quick. This house checks all the boxes for a vacation and is very affordable.

Great property and communicative hosts. The firepit was nice for cooking dinner a couple nights. The master bed was very comfortable and the foosball table was a fun family activity. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Green River Home. Great cozy getaway cabin, driving distance or brief hike away from the river. Very quiet and tucked into a forested ridge with a nice small campfire spot. Everything was as listed and there was a detailed booklet telling everything about the cabin and local area.
