Rincon Musicians

I came with my husband and a friend. Villa Descalza was an excellent choice. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. The house had absolutely everything we needed including ample beach chairs, umbrella and towels and was in a nice safe area. All the best places in Rincon were all less than 10 minutes away. Our host, Rut was great to communicate with. Rincon beaches and restaurants are top notch. We hope to return again next year!

Beautiful Villa in a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to the beach!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Descalza! It is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could need on vacation and more. The beds were very comfortable too! The back porch was the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee or just hang out. The location is unbeatable with beautiful views of the ocean. Walking distance to the beach but far enough away from the bars that you don’t hear the late night music- which is much appreciated with a young child. We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time! We will definitely be back! Also- the property manager was awesome! I accidentally locked us out of the house and they helped us get back in within minutes! Truly incredible service!

We visit Rincon every year now for the past 12 years. Villa Descalza was the perfect location for peaceful mornings and evenings spent on the patio with view of the ocean. The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Location for access to restaurants and beaches was ideal. Walk down the hill and there you are. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor shower was a plus and although we didn't need it the patio was still usable during a rainstorm as they have electric awnings that protect it from weather. Well done. We'll be back to this one for sure. The perfect experience.

The patio

We stayed here for 11 days with our 2 young boys (1.5yo and 3.5yo). The backyard and patio were the perfect area to play when we couldn’t be at the beach. We bought a small pool and slip’n’slide which was awesome. Sound travels through the house, so we spent most of our time on the patio after putting the kids to bed, which we found to be delightful. Great house in a great location.

Perfect retreat

We enjoyed the breezes on the back patio after days out surfing and enjoying exploring beaches. A short walk down the hill to local bars and restaurants and a 10 minute drive to Rincon for a higher energy vibe.

Why it isn't 5 stars

The fire alarm in the master bedroom beeps so loud. Sleeping with that was nearly impossible. I slept with headphones on and the following night I just slept in the bunk beds. Very inconvenient. Finding the entrance to this place even with the pictures is not that easy and the road is destroyed, the rental car struggled going up.
