Enclosed garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. Previously Visit England 4 Star rated property and Visit Britain Gold Awarded property.. Situated within a few minutes’ walk of the city centre with its magnificent cathedral, this delightful cottage, all on ground floor level, has a blend of attractive features including oak floors and granite worktops, and is complemented with stylish contemporary furnishings, creating very comfortable accommodation for relaxing after a day spent exploring the many attractions in the area. Ripon is a historic market town and is host to various cultural events throughout the year, there is a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs, golf course, race course and the attractive spa gardens.

A short walk takes you to the picturesque canal basin where there is an array of colourful canal barges. The area is steeped in history with numerous abbeys and National Trust properties in the immediate area. The cottage is well placed for walking and touring the Yorkshire Dales, whilst the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, the spa town of Harrogate, the city of York and the North York Moors are just a short drive away.
