Great place to relax

Lovely location for Beagle adventures

Lovely cosy accommodation with plenty of new smells to explore. Great base to recover and warm up in post wet walk. We probably could’ve stayed another couple of days without repeating any walks.

An oasis of peace

One of the nicest holiday cottages I have stayed in. The interior seemed brand new and the kitchen was very well equipped. Sitting outside in the sunshine, the only sounds are from the birds. The nearest village is only 10 mins drive away and has a superb butchers, which also stocks fruit& veg and cheeses. The local shop sells papers, bread and essentials. Ripon is a short distance away for supermarkets. The cottage is ideally situated to visit the wide range of attractions which that part of Yorkshire has to offer. For those who enjoy walking, Kirkby Malzeard moor is only a couple of hundred yards away. We will definitely be back. ps Masham has two breweries, Theakstons and Black Sheep. As they say, “What’s not to like?”

Excellent little hide away. Well furnished. Beautiful location. Alan was so helpful with the small issue we had. Definitely recommended.
