Bananarama is a piece of paradise in Roatan! Staff is always available to assist if needed, and the service is exceptional. Bartenders, wait staff, beach service staff are always smiling and ready to serve your needs.

Great spot on the beach. The food at the bar, the wood fire pizza, and coffee joint was spot on. Ole Derrick & Eddie were great bartenders. The rooms are super small, tiny fridge, no tv, and such. But we expected this beforehand so no worries. Everything you needs along the cove. Great restaurants and watering holes. Check out the spot next doors seafood platter for 4, its was great! I wouldnt take another fishing charter there to be honest. It ended up being a 3hr, $400 boat ride as we got skunked, no fish! They have you hold onto a pole off the side of the boat for hours while trolling. That was with L.T.D Charters. Other than that amazing people, food, and gorgeous beach. We will be back.

Literally always stay here when I go to Roatan, the staff is amazing. Bartenders are great and funny. Jeff made the best cocktails! Food is great and reasonably priced. We had the best time. Thank you !

The staff were all so friendly that I felt like I was staying with friends! Right on a clean, white sand beach with turquoise water. Great food, daily specials, and evening activities.

I loved the hotel! Friendly staff and delicious food. I also liked that breakfast was included and the free welcome drinks! The room was always clean and so was the restaurant. There were some things that the hotel needs to improve like having a TV in the room and having 2 or more beds in the lower level cabin for disabled people. Overall, I give a 8.5 out of 10. Points. Great hotel!

Excelente localización de la playa. Mala comunicación del personal de recepción acerca de la transportación. Me comuniqué con ellos con varios días de antelación informándoles que una de las compañeras del grupo llegaba Domingo. Me comunicaron que ya que era la cuarta persona no se le iba a cobrar, sin embargo terminaron cobrándole $35 adicionales. No supieron resolver el problema.

Wir waren im Jahr 2017 schon einmal im Bananarama und haben uns auch diesmal sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, auch die Auswahl des Frühstücks ist super und unsere Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Im Vergleich zum ersten Mal fanden wir nur das Personal an der Bar und beim Frühstück weniger freundlich insbesondere zu Einheimischen und wenn man mit Lempira gezahlt hat, war zu spüren, dass sie weniger freundlich waren. Auch gibt es keinen Parkplatz mehr und das sollte entsprechend in der Anzeige angepasst werden, aber es war leicht in der Nähe einen Parkplatz zu finden. Alles in allem war es ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und wir würden das Bananarama wieder wählen, wenn wir auf Roatan sind.

We loved our stay. Especially swinging in the hammock on the porch of our room/cabana. It’s definitely rustic. So don’t expect fancy. But maintained, comfortable, safe, and steps from the beautiful beach. The staff is kind, the free breakfast is delicious, and the scuba shop fantastic! Take a dive with Zoe, you’ll absolutely love it. If you’re looking for authentic Honduran food, Bananarama is just a 1 min walk to La Placita and there you’ll find inexpensive pupusas and baleadas. Very delicious.
