Great Home awesome location. Lacked Security
We were warmly greeted and given a tour of the home by Nicole. Accompanied by 11 family members, we all comfortably slept in beds. The beach is a 10-minute walk away.
The Villa is amazing, but the lack of security around the house was its only flaw. There is no gate, door, or fence to deter people from entering the property from the street.
Our first encounter with this issue happened when my son and I noticed an unknown man walking onto the property and heading towards the pool. Initially concerned, we later discovered he was a pool cleaner. It would have been better if we had been informed about this routine.
Another incident occurred around 8:30 pm when a female family member encountered an unknown man near Casa Nueva (the second house on the property). He was under the steps. Despite trying to communicate, he claimed not to speak English and left the premises. We contacted the management company, who explained that the man was their employee checking on a neighboring property and decided to check ours because it looked dark. It was nighttime, we didn't request anyone to service the home, so it was disturbing why an unknown person would be on the property at night without notifying us.
The only other issue was that the master bedroom provided cool air instead of cold air, to the point where my wife and I slept without sheets. We contacted management, but it was never fixed.
Nonetheless, the positives outweighed the negatives. We had a great time!
