Added bonus, the breakfast room is set up with same level of refreshments, all day, much appreciated after a walk up from the town in the evening. It said in the write up with Expedia that only a continental breakfast is included, this is not the case, a cooked breakfast is also available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. “The breakfast was full Scottish with cereal loads of tea and coffee and different juices set you up for the day , room was clean with a hairdryer, tea & coffee and TV. Staff were friendly.”

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“We checked into the Fishers Hotel on 29/6/26 for 2nts and booked B&B. When we arrived the lady on reception was polite and offered us a comp drink on arrival. We were allocated room 220 which is a King room. There was lots of maintenance issues. * Wall paper was peeling away from the walls. Very noticeable. * The chandelier wasn't completely attached to the ceiling. Wires, elements were showing. * Bathroom glass shelf very wobbly. Was too afraid to even place our toothbrushes on it. * Toilet……
