「Didn’t use the gym but looked equipped. Staff was alright. Room was clean and roomy. Heating unit made a lot of noise and walls are thin so I could hear the neighbors coughing at 5 am. 」

「The room was quiet, clean and have comfortable beds. The bathroom looked updated, clean and tidy. The TV has basic cable. The breakfast was decent and had a variety of different things to eat and drink. We ordered DoorDash for supper from wild wings. They were the best wings we ever had. They have 2 vending machines for drinks and treats. Next to these is an ice machine. It was easy check in and out. And the staff was friendly.」

「The Algonquin is the reason St.Andrew’s -by-Sea is a resort town. Lots of shops, most still open in winter are great for clothes, jewellery, and eating out. No movie theatres. Found a new and superb restaurant downtown called William’s on Water. Superb chef, fresh ingredients with a menu that changes daily. 「The room was good, the front of house staff were great, the cleaning staff amazing but the resturant staff made us feel like we couldnt afford to eat in there. They also told us (a party of 5) that they had no menus just a buffet for $18.00 but yet let other patrons use the menu. 」

「Ive stayed here often was a great place i dont know what chaged over a year but it was terrribke understaffed dirty halls load all night not enough towels and no faceclothes and hate to say even the breakfeat sucked all around not a great stay might be looking else where as priced are pretty much the same . 」

「the entire site was covered in ice - the outside rooms such as 306 where I stayed I slipped and fell at 7:30am Saturday morning - went to the office too report this and it was like a who cares attitude - I asked if they could please put some salt down - left for the day and upon my return at 8:15pm the same night NO salt had been spread on all the ice 」

「Room was very dated, furniture in poor condition. Found several black hairs in shower/bed. Shower/tub also do not drain which was unsettling, The towel rack was inside (?) the shower which would be odd design for taller guests. No housecoats or standard amenities were provided, and towels were in short supply. Room did not match online pictures at all, so while the room design was pretty standard it was disappointing it wasn’t what their own website or Expedia displayed.」

「The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and provided me with local information what I asked. My suite was clean and spacious. And I loved the breakfast lounge area. The windows around the area were super clean, thus allowing me a beautiful view while I dined. And the breakfast itself was well done with many different foods available. For my second/last morning at the hotel, I noticed they changed up some of the foods. I thought this was great because it made my dining experience more...

「The hotel was clean staff were very Friendly. The only thing that was disappointing was the hot tub was not working and the pool was not heated like the lady at the front deck told me so it was very cold only one of my kids got in for about 10 mins and the other not at all.」
