“Room was great, breakfast weas tasty and staff were excellent”

“Despite a significant electric power supply issue, the staff coped extremely well. The kitchen appeared to carry on as normal. We were impressed. We will certainly return one day.”

“Room was clean although small amount of mould in corners of shower tray, fan cover kept falling down, bathroom fan was very noisy. Didn’t eat in the restaurant as only 4star food hygiene rating (expected more from this type of hotel), we ate across the road at the Cosy Club which was great! Overall we would consider staying again at the hotel as lovely area!”

“The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. ”

“Just returned from an overnight stay at this property and what a welcome we had. All our needs were catered for and the owner went above and beyond. We also had an excellent 3 course evening meal at the property. I would definitely recommend this property and we would not hesitate to return here. ”
