While we understand the limitations of a complimentary breakfast, it would be highly appreciated if different food items were kept separate. For example, keeping the eggs and pork in completely different trays would make a huge difference for those with dietary restrictions. Thank you”

“This hotel was uniquely beautiful. We loved all of the character and history inside. I was a bit nervous from the not perfect reviews, but my family of 6 enjoyed our one night here. We had a one bedroom suite with two bathrooms, two queen beds, and a sofa bed. It was a large suite and we definitely loved having two showers. “Smoke detector was chirping when I entered my room. After two calls to the front desk, the clerk came to my room, took it off the wall, removed the battery and left it on the dresser. The provided hairdryer didn’t not work. And one of my towels had black stuff all over it, and one of the washcloths had what looked like a blood stain! Finally, had to depart a day early due to a family issue, and after talking to the front desk, Expedia, and the hotel manager Friday morning, I was unable to……

“We enjoyed the hot beverage station in the lobby. Our only complaint was that they need to enforce a noise policy for guests who gather in the lobby or upstairs sitting area that is right outside of guests’ rooms. More than a dozen noisy people gathered in the small 2nd floor area which was right outside our door late in the evening until after 10 pm, The area is open to the lobby below, so the front desk attendant was very aware and didn’t do anything about it until we went down to complain.……
