"Once I get to PDX from the east coast it’s always late evening and has been a long day and is three more hours to my destination. I need to break up the trip with an overnight at PDX, both coming and going. Red Lion has been my go-to for these twice annual trips for a decade.. Accommodations are very clean and comfortable, in-room amenities are adequate and staff are consistently welcoming and accommodating. I travel with my dog and area feels very safe to walk around with her. Appreciate the 24 hour shuttle service to/from PDX. Very much recommend."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was awesome. Having to pay $10 a day for parking - as a guest - is unacceptable and will be a deciding factor if ever decide to stay there again."

"I think it need total replacement of flooring, remove the old and smell’s like nursing home carpet , and replace a nice updated wood flooring. And the swimming pool should be open always . We didn’t have the chance to swim this time . Staff is amazing. "

"We had booked the wrong state by accident. We wanted Portland. Maine but mistakenly booked Oregon by mistake and when we phoned to cancel we were refused. We are still trying to get our money back by going corporate head office but can’t seem to get through. Terrible customer service!!!!!"

"Very ran down. Walls were paper thin and could hear everything, even someone just walking down the hall. Did not feel safe at all and was propositioned by a lady of the evening in the hallway. Bed was hard as a rock, no hot water (warm), latch broken on door so unable to engage. "

"Helpful staff, clean modern facility. Need key card to access elevators so felt safer. We received a refund for the $10 charge for parking. Just a little inconvenient to have to validate parking stubs each time you left and returned and the other amenities made up for a little inconvenience."
