  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

The cabin was super clean and cute. The listing is exactly as posted! AWD is required as the road to get to the cabin is steep. That being said, if you are up for the drive it is the perfect place to stay!!!

This was the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. If you’re interested in going on the crystal kayak tour thru the mine, you couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s only 5 min away from the meeting place.

Peace & Privacy, abound!

My husband and I stayed 9/22-9/25/24. We enjoyed the seclusion, being surrounded by the trees and boulders. The hot tub is amazing, nestled high on the deck surrounded by the trees. The signs at the road are accurate: use 4WD!! Beautiful cabins, very relaxing.

Amazing Stay!

We had such a wonderful time at the Stoic. The drive in definitely needed AWD but it was so amazing to drive in and stay in such a beautiful area! All of our needs were met and our kids loved using the backpack to take their things to the loft. The Stoic is close to all of the hikes that we wanted to do. Mike was so responsive to any questions we had and provided great food recommendations! We will be back.

Perfect getaway spot

The property has a fantastic location that feels incredibly secluded but is still very close to activities at Red River gorge. It's a cute little cabin, with everything you need, but, a very cozy feel. The hosts themselves definitely understand the assignment. Very nicely outfitted home that makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. This is a perfect example of what Vrbo should be. Great job

Anniversary getaway!

This was a super cute place with a great hot tub! It was clean and comfortable, and matched with the listing perfectly. The host responded to the one question we asked promptly. I would absolutely book this property again. Do note though…the road in is one lane, steep and winding. Pay attention to the vehicle recommendation. They mean it.

Great place to stay and perfect for three adults plus our dog. As you can see from the photo, he loved it! The house is wonderfully decorated and the details included made the experience that much more enjoyable! It was very clean with all the items you needed for a weekend stay. There is a rough terrain getting to the house but we didn’t have any issues as we used 4 wheel drive as recommended. We are already planning our next stay at this house or one of the other hideaway options. Can’t wait to go back!

When choosing properties for my family, I like fun and unique places to stay when away from home. This property fit the bill! The cabin was well-appointed and thoughtful in all aspects. You definitely need 4WD/AWD as stated, and preferably a taller vehicle. The route is steep, and the road has many ruts, so having a lower vehicle will be more difficult.
