Absolutely loved this apartment! Communication with the host was timely and excellent. Apartment was clean and in a fantastic location to ammenities and land marks. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Italy Vacation

Rome was our first stop on this amazing trip and the Altieri Loft Pantheon property met all of our needs. The loft was roomy and centrally located where we were walking distance to the main site seeing locations e.g. Vatican, Pantheon, etc... Valerio was very helpful during the check-in process and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you for everything!

Great location, unique & authentic apartment

If you want to stay somewhere that feels like history with the comfort of modern life, stat here. Great location near Gesu, Piazza Venezia, and multiple transit stops. The building has character and interest. Just be aware it is a long walk through corridors to get to the apartment, but for us it felt like a great adventure!

Charming and unique

We loved this quirky charming place in the center of everything. Sure the hallway is long, there are some steep stairs, but we loved it. the history vibe is strong. Thanks for a great stay!

Fun Rome Trip for 4

Overall, it was a fantastic stay! The unit was very cozy and conveniently located near everything. The only issue was that the VRBO was about a 6-7 minute walk to the unit; however, that didn't ruin our experience.

Great communication. Valerio was so nice in helping us with our luggage and explaining everything about the property. Such a good location. Everything super walkable. Would definitely get a bus or Uber from main station as that is probably the longest walk we did.

Wonderful spot for family

Wonderful place to stay with older kids! Easily walkable throughout the Pantheon area and to the Colosseum. So many attractions and great city life to experience on the doorstep, but not noisy. Adriano was great meeting us and getting us set, with everything we needed at hand. Highly recommended!

Family Holiday

Palazzo Altieri is a beautiful property in a great location. Our family of five stayed was comfortable in our apartment with plenty of room and all the things we needed for our week long stay. It’s within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, gelato spots, and quick walking distance to public transit. We’ll definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

Couldn’t be in a better location, central to just about everything, loads of good restaurants. Very secure apartment in really historic building. Really clean and everything easy. Even found a free parking space right outside for whole weekend. We’ll be back.

Excellent Location

The apartment was in an excellent location. It was a nice place to come back to at the end of a day of walking. My only caution is for people who have any mobility issues. The two beds are in a loft up several very skinny steps. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to stay.

Perfect location

Our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is within walking distance of many sites in Rome. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The AC worked but was a bit loud in the upstairs area, and was not consistent there. However, there were fans to compensate. Also must be careful on the stairs as they were small. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay

This apartment was perfect for our Rome vacation. It was centrally located to all of the tourist attractions so it was easy to walk everywhere. But when we were tired there is a bus stop right out front. The building has a large door to the street that locks at night that feels very safe. The apartment was wonderful. Had everything we needed and wanted. Just for those who need to know, the stairs that lead to the beds are very steep. The sofa is a sleeper bed also so there is an option for a bed downstairs. Would definitely stay here again.

Walkable

This location is close to everything. You can easily walk to all the sites. Because you are so central, it's also really noisy. Lots of sirens! You will have some stairs before you can access the elevator and steep stairs in the unit. I wouldn't recommend it for the elderly or anyone with toddlers. The bathroom smell is real, as indicated in other reviews. It doesn't go away, so best to keep the door closed or be prepared. The beds were comfy and it was clean! From the entrance of the building you weave your way past interesting corners of the attic before reaching the suite. All is clean and normal once you're inside. Nice to have the windows open but it's loud outside. You will definitely need the AC here on hot days.

4 Nights in Rome

Great location, walked everywhere. Be aware that the bathroom is on the lower lever from main bedroom, steps are steep and small. A issue at night if you are concerned. Would suggest more bath towels be provided and a non slip rug for shower area. Very safe and secure, unique for sure!

Great location!

Three of us (24 yo) stayed here and loved it. It was a charming place to stay with a great location. They had great communication up until our stay and also allowed us to check in early. They arranged a car service for us from the airport. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU CAN NOT HANDLE WALKING STAIRS. I loved staying here, but if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. There is an elevator but you still need to walk stairs and down hallways. The beds are also on the loft area, which added so much character to our stay, but could be challenging for others. The location was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable, and we felt comfortable traveling as young women. I loved staying here and loved Rome!

We stayed for 5 nights. Family with all adults. Pros: (1) Place is very nice, clean, safe, quiet, and big. Lots of amenities in kitchen. You can see lake from the window. It's in a very beautiful neighborhood. (2) Walking distance to rail station(2 minutes). (3) 10 minutes drive to Interlaken city center. Cons: (1). Only 1 set of towels( 4 towels for 5 nights). Should be two sets minimum. (2). There is a restrictions about amount of hot water you can use. We were very careful about using hot water, and still 4th person has to take cold shower. (3). we have no control to manage the temperature of the room. Temperature in rooms were comfortable to stay but not enough to sleep properly. Rooms were too warm and humid to sleep properly. Other: Within first 5 minutes, my wife, 120 lb, set on a swing and it got broke. A bolt attaching swing to a ceiling came off. My wife's head got hit on a wall as swing fell. She is still hurting on that spot on head.(after about 13-14 days.) We will get x-ray done to find out soon. I would rent again if room temperatures, towels, and hot water situations are addressed.
