Babuino Deluxe - Spanish Steps

This lovely apartment is on the first floor, with elevator, of an elegant building facing the famous "Via del Babuino".

Recently renovated with particular taste and attention to details, the apartment is modern and very functional. The parquet floor, together with the large windows in all rooms, make the apartment very bright and pleasant.

The entrance opens into the living area with a fully equipped kitchen corner, a table for four with chairs, flat screen TV and a comfortable double sofa bed.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove and everything you need during your stay.

The bathroom with shower is modern and recently renovated as the whole apartment.

At the end of the living room there is a spacious double bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and single bed, large wardrobe and bedside tables. A TV completes the decoration of the bedroom.

The apartment is equipped with washing machine, air conditioning, heating and Wi-Fi: all you need to make your stay in Rome truly enjoyable!

The apartment is suitable for use for Smart Working with fast internet connection.

The City Tax is 6,00 euros per person per day (including children aged 10 years and older) and is to be paid upon arrival (excluding bookings from web portals where the City Tax is already withheld).

Great location and helpful host

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It is on the second floor of the building an a beautiful shopping street which could be a bit noisy at times.

No good stay

We stayed as family in March 2023 , best of this place is location . BUT overall experience was not good at all . The apartment does not look as pictures published. It was dusty . It seems that they did not do a cleaning in depth for a while . Then the restroom has a bad odor during whole stay. And shower drain was not worked despite they try to fix it .In addition sofa has a dirty coverage with hairs and questionable bloody spot . I think they have to replace sofa . We could not sit on it . This place can be a hit if owner make a serious effort with cleaning and replace some dirty furniture. Finally I hope owner updates with current pictures not the ones are listed at the moment.

great location

the apartment was ok, bad is not for 5 people if you want to be confortable, for 2 or 3 it's perfect, the manager excellent, helping with everything I ask, also he let me live my luggage there after the check out. The building had constructors working in the entrance, that made a lot of dust, but it will be finish soon.

Bit disappointing

We had a bit of difficulty getting to the apartment because the management failed to get us a promised transport. The apartment was a bit difficult to get through the gates and get the key. The bathroom smelled at times of sewer. The kitchen is not well purposed. The brightness of the apartment picture was not there because of scaffolding that completely blocked the only two windows. This apartment is in a great location and we enjoyed the walking.

L’appartement a été loué alors qu’un échafaudage est installé depuis plusieurs semaines pour des travaux dans l’immeuble : les volets sont bloqués et fermés en permanence et les travaux comment des7:30/8.donc un séjour dans le noir et le bruit.

Great Location and Spacious Apartment with Elevator

This apartment is in a great location in the Spanish Steps area of Rome and within easy walking distance of the highlights in the Historic Center. A 24 hr grocery store is just a few blocks away as well as many restaurants, wine bars and shops. The bedroom, kitchen/dining/living, and bathrooms are well equipped. There is an elevator (though small), which we only used for our luggage as the apartment is only up one flight of stairs. Alberto was on time to meet us for our early arrival so we could store our luggage until the apt was cleaned. He texted us as soon as it was ready for our occupancy. We were there for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We've stayed in other apts in this area on 4 previous trips to Rome and will definitely re-book this apt for future stays. Alessandra was easy to work with in booking and responded immediately when we had questions prior to our stay. Note: Via Babuino is a busy street for tourists and locals on foot, so you may hear some voices into the night, but you can close the windows and shutters to help silence any noise. The A/C worked well for us, though the nights were cool. The shower has great water pressure and hot water does not run out. If you go to the 24 hr grocery, bring bags provided in the apt, otherwise plastic grocery bags will be .10 euros per bag at checkout. The apt is secure with a locked front door to the bldg, a gated door to the upper floors and elevator, and then a locked door to the apt. We are a couple in our mid fifties and would not hesitate to recommend this apt.
