The location of this apartment was perfect for us. We don't love being in the tourist throngs in central Rome, but we want to visit the sites. This apartment is very close to the Trastevere train station and two tram lines. So, you can get into town quickly. But it's in a residential neighborhood, so it's quieter and less busy than the tourist areas. It's very close to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. The air conditioning was excellent. It was also great to have a washing machine for laundry. My only concern is for people who want to cook. The gas range is fantastic, and you will find adequate pots and pans. But we had to buy a spatula, a potato peeler and a few other inexpensive, basic kitchen tools that a rental should have. However, there were THREE hair dryers. Clearly this apartment is geared toward groups of women, not two bald men who like to cook. All this said, we had a very comfortable stay and would rent here again.
