The apartment hasn't been upgraded since maybe the fifties or sixties. If you run the clothes washer, or the oven all the lights go off. You then have to go down three flights stairs to the breaker box to flip the switch back on. The bathroom needs total renovation. The bathroom was good size but the shower was the size in a small camper. The shower head broke and took two days to fix it. There were insects that bit all three of us several times during our ten day stay. We don't know if they were spiders or something flying. It was a good location for us though, very close to the Vatican.
