The apartment is located in the Prati neighborhood, an area with plenty of amenities and excellent public transportation access (the “Lepanto” and “Ottaviano” stops on Metro Line A). The Prati neighborhood is an elegant, middle-class area in central Rome, full of squares, parks, and good restaurants. The neighborhood’s main attraction is likely Via Cola di Rienzo, named after a Roman senator and nobleman; it’s a major shopping street, less crowded than the well-known Via del Corso but similarly lined with high-end Italian and international fashion boutiques. Just a 12-minute walk away is the Mercato Trionfale, considered one of Rome’s best food markets.
Among the main points of interest, we recommend:
- Castel Sant’Angelo: 13-minute walk;
- Piazza del Popolo: 18-minute walk;
- St. Peter’s Square and Vatican City: 19-minute walk;
- Spanish Steps: 11 minutes by public transportation;
- Colosseum and Imperial Forums: 29 minutes by public transportation.
- Pam (supermarket): 3-minute walk - 260 m;
- Gianni e Simona Restaurant: 1-minute walk - 60 m;
- Shelter (bar): 2-minute walk - 200 m;
- Trionfale Market: 12-minute walk.
