Gonfalone Residence Alice

  • Alice means "with noble aspect"". Alice is also the heroine of the Lewis Carroll's fantasy romance 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', so we cannot imagine a better place to lay your head than Gonfalone Residence Alice.

A 28 m² studio of cosy and modern space, one bedroom, ideal for a romantic escape or a great weekend with friends, this listing is extremely central and well connected.

The apartment is located in the heart of the gourmet district, happening to be within 500m of 3-star Michelin restaurants (Per Me, Pipero, Il Pagliaccio), not to mention other local favourites such as Pierluigi and Il Goccetto.

Nespresso Machine, super-fast wifi, Smart Tv, Ac, self-check- in, central heating, on a quiet reserved street yet minutes away from bustling Campo de Fiori and Trastevere area.

Alice will share the fame with another famous lady of Rome, Giulia. The street on which the apartment is located is just off Via Giulia, one of the most beautiful streets in Rome. So, if “We're all mad here”, after all, let's do it at Gonfalone Residence Alice.

Perfect Stay

This apartment was exactly what I needed for my stay in Rome. The location is excellent, with easy access to central Rome, the Vatican, and Trastevere. It's also an easy stroll to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon and a lovely walk to places like Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and Piazza del Popolo making it a great base for exploring the city. Also away from the busy areas of Rome and very quiet The building felt very secure, and having a pharmacy and a Tigre supermarket nearby was really convenient for picking up essentials. The apartment itself had everything I needed. I mainly used it as a place to , shower, and recharge between days of sightseeing, and it was perfect for that. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located base to explore Rome, I'd happily recommend it. A note to say if the wine and treats on the table are for the guest or extra cost. Also a shelf in the shower as it’s hard to bend over to access shampoo

Not impressed

To be fair, we are seniors so my impressions come from years of traveling and staying in many accommodations. This place was marginal at best. There was no elevator and 17 narrow stairs to apt. Other: very small, no paper towels or bath mat. There was a mop head but no long handle to attach it to. Towel warmer didn’t work. No soap in shower. The lock to apartment fell off the door At one point. Basically, it was just a bed. THE WALLS WERE SO THIN we could hear snoring in adjacent room and lots of people climbing up and down stairs with luggage as they were arriving and leaving. The staff checking us in were exceptional, however. Helped carry luggage up. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you were much younger, with a backpack and traveling on a budget. The location was great, however.
