Two story studio apartment located in Rione Monti - one of the most fascinating neighborhoods in the real center of Rome - 5 minutes by foot from Colosseum and Imperial Fora and walking distance to all the major attractions. At your disposal a comfortable double bedroom on the upper level and a cozy living room and a family bathroom with shower on the ground floor. The location is spectacular, and the apartment is comfortable. However, the furnishings need updating, and the sofa needs a good cleaning. They politely ask you to take out the trash, but you still have to pay for cleaning.

Appartement très agréable, calme et bien situé. A 5 mn du colisée, 10 mn de la gare et 15 minutes des autres monuments du centre historique.La literie est excellente, il y a la connexion wifi et de quoi se faire la cuisine.Le suivi des échanges a été très bien, du début à la fin.Mon séjour s'est très bien passé. Je ne regrette pas cette location.

Das WLAN hat während meines gesamten Aufenthalts nicht funktioniert. Mehrfaches Nachfragen brachte leider keine Lösung, obwohl ich darauf hingewiesen habe, dass ich das Internet dringend zum Arbeiten brauche. In der Wohnung gibt es zudem überhaupt keinen Handyempfang, sodass Telefonieren oder mobiles Internet nicht möglich waren. Dadurch war ich gezwungen, abends von unterwegs aus zu arbeiten – sehr unpraktisch.Auch die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig: Gläser waren verstaubt und verklebt, die Türklinke fiel jedes Mal ab. Insgesamt wirkte das Objekt ungepflegt, obwohl es eigentlich großes Potenzial hätte. Sehr schade, hier könnte man mit wenig Aufwand deutlich mehr daraus machen. Ich komme nicht wieder & bin über die Kommunikation sehr enttäuscht.

The room was in a perfect location. The picture definitely makes it look nicer than it is, but it was clean, then bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well enough for a fun and comfortable stay in Rome.

Great location. Needs a microwave and instructions for the clothes washing machine were nonexistent. Shower doesn’t drain very well and floods the bathroom floor. This little apartment has real potential but just needs some attention to detail. The queen bed is extremely comfortable. In short it’s worth it for the price but ask for washing machine instructions, make sure the shower drains properly before you arrive. I’d stay there again.

Our stay at the Monti Studio Apartment was excellent. The hosts communication with us was great! Alex helped us check in and was very communicative for any questions we had as well as recommendations for food. The apartment is in an amazing spot. It is central and walking distance to pretty much everything. There is amazing view of the Colosseum just down the block from the apartment. The local train station is just one block away and is one stop from the main station of Termini. We will definitely be staying here again in the future! Thank you!

We couldn't have had a better stay at this property. The staff were absolutely phenomenal - brilliant communication throughout and so kind and accommodating for extras we requested, they couldn't have gone further for us. The apartment itself was brilliant - more spacious than I anticipated and with lots of light from the tall window, and A/C in the bedroom area (although the apartment is out of direct sunlight so stays cool anyway even mid July!). Other reviews have spoken about the bathroom smelling but this wasn't our experience - we were recommended to keep the window open to facilitate ventilation, and this meant we had no issue. We were provided everything we needed and felt very happy and comfortable. The apartment is set in a beautiful little courtyard also that is only accessible with a key, so it's private and safe. The absolute crowning jewel is certainly the location - so central! And a metro stop basically on your front door step for 'further out' trips. We would recommend this place to absolutely anyone and want to particularly thank Francesca and Martina - thank you so much for our magical stay x

amazing place to stay in the center of rome! apartment was better than expected from the photos and nicely decorated. washing machine was provided which was really helpful. the host was exceptional- very fast response time and he provided us with recommendations on where to eat and drink. he also provided us with extra washing machine tablets and coffee pods when we asked which was very appreciated! bed was comfy and kitchen was easy to use. the apartment felt very safe as it was within a gated building with a courtyard. our hot water heater did break at one point however the host managed to get it sorted as soon as we mentioned it. overall, a very good place to stay in rome and would definitely be back if we visited again!

You get what you pay for

Pros: the location is great. Tons of bars and restaurants just outside the door and walking distance to basically everything (if you’re ok with a bit of walking).The building is cute and the space, while small, was relatively functional with a few exceptions. This was the cheapest listing we could find that accepted dogs.The bed was comfortable.Con’s:Only after booking was it brought to our attention that it’s an additional 70 to have a dog- this felt like a scam since it wasn’t made clear before and the reservation was non refundable.We were told we could leave our bags in the apartment the morning of check in but after waiting 20 minutes past the time we were told we could have access we gave up and stashed our bags in the luggage storage just next to the apartment- actually really convenient IF we had just done that in the first place.Communication had a delay that was a bit frustrating but our concerns were acknowledged if not rectified.The hot water is hit or miss. We had a couple of cold showers and one warm.The key with being satisfied with something is to have realistic expectations. For the price just be prepared for some hiccups.

Perfect for two, amazing location!!

You cannot ask for a better location - trendy neighborhood full of great food, quaint shops, and picturesque walks. You can easily walk to all major attractions. The Vatican City is a bit far, but not terrible if you have good shoes and some time.The good: location, kitchenette, check-in / out, comfortable bed, fast WiFi, extra bed linens, large bedThe bad: no paper products or kitchen linens (napkins or paper towels), iron was broken, very small shower, musty smell if windows closed, ants when left fruit (bananas) on counter, limited toiletries in bathroom (bring your own)Overall, for the price you can’t beat this spot for a couple or small family of three! If you plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, you may want to upgrade - but you’re doing Rome wrong if that’s your plan!

Super emplacement

Très facile de communiquer avec les proprio. Le coin est excellent. Plusieurs resto et près de plusieurs lieux d'intérêt. Le lit est confortable, le divan un peu moins par contre. Bien équipé, seul bémol est le manque de fan dans la salle de bain. Petit problème d'humidité. J'y retournerai sans problème.

Good situation but not pleasant

Very good situation 200 m from colosseo, nice building. We loved the Monti area Nevertheless the bathroom was very humid with musty smell, walls of kitchen and bedroom stained and the sofa too. W. Dust on side table in bedroom. We felt not very cosy. The price was very good but few things too fix and it's a very good place.

Also völlige Täuschung vom Inserat. Alles war sehr dreckig, der Boden, die Matratze, die Bettdecke, das Sofa, echt widerlich. Das Bad was nicht sauber, schimmlig, hat muffig gerochen, absolut klein. Unwohler kann man sich nicht fühlen. Wir haben die Firma kontaktiert, sie haben die Bettdecke getauscht und ein Laken auf das Sofa gelegt, aber nochmals wurde nicht geputzt. Es ist sein Geld nicht wert, nur eine billige Touri-Abzocke und wird lieblos behandelt. Einzig Gute war die Lage, nur 5 Minuten zum Coloseum, alles ist gut erreichbar.

The location is excellent we walked every where, the coliseum, the Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, and to the Spanish Steps. If a person is over 6’ tall and over 200 pounds I don’t recommend because the stairs are SO narrow and steep and the ceiling in the second floor is very low. I was told to take the garbage close to half a mile away.before I clear the flat. I was charged 25 Euros because I came after 2030 and then I had to wait for someone 20 minutes to open the flat. Other than the mildew smell and the little red bugs it was an okay stay, because of the location.

Posizione interessantissima, a 10min a piedi dal Colosseo e pieno di ristoranti, negozi e posti molto carini. A pochi minuti a piedi anche dalle fermate metro e di bus. Io lo consiglio vivamente!!!
