Review: DON’T GO. Waited 45 minutes just to check in. Company rep, as he referred to himself, finally showed, he informed us that the elevator to the 4th floor was not working, keep in mind, it was 10:00 p.m. and we had been traveling all day. Once inside the unit, we were told a cleaning fee would have to be paid upfront. At that point, our choice was simple: pay it or leave. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The main air conditioner wasn't on, very stuffy feeling. The AC in the main bedroom ran for about five minutes, shut off for ten, and repeated that cycle all night long. One of the bathroom lights was dangling from the wall with exposed wires. The "handheld shower" had almost no water pressure—which turned out to be a good thing, because the drain was clogged. The master bedroom mattress reminded me of something you would throw away after a year in a college apartment. It was basically cloth and springs with absolutely no support. All three beds had, one sheet and nothing else, no blanket, comforter, or bed cover. The cabinet door under the sink, where the garbage pail was located, could only open a few inches because the cabinet next to it physically blocked the door. Between the 45-minute check-in, broken elevator, surprise fee, inadequate AC, exposed electrical wires, clogged drains, terrible mattress, lack of bedding, and poorly maintained unit, this was nowhere close to what we expected.
