It was amazing to stay so close to all attactions, while the 70 steps to the top floor were great for fitness, & sometimes challenging after a big day out, to have the rooftop for wines and see clear across the locale was really special.Comfortable beds, while everything was old (to be expected) it was super clean & comfortable with aircon.Clorinda saw to our every query with grace and friendline. Overall, it was an 11 out of 10Gracias

The bathroom was quite small, and the door was difficult to open and close. Several of the small wood floor tiles were loose and frequently came up. The upstairs air conditioning unit was dripping water, and the main entrance door was very hard to shut properly. On a positive note, the property is in a convenient and well-located

Perfect stay in Rome

5-Star ReviewI had a wonderful stay at this apartment in the heart of Rome! The location is unbeatable, with everything you could want to see or do just steps away. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. The host was incredibly attentive during check-in, ensuring a smooth process, and communication throughout my stay was excellent.The only thing to note is that the stairs leading to the apartment might be challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. However, if that’s not a concern, this place is perfect for a Roman getaway. Highly recommend it for its charm, convenience, and top-notch hospitality!

Amazing location

The location of this property is second to none, if you want to live like a local this is the place to stay. They warn you that there are a lot of steps to get to the property (roughly 72) but it is worth it for the location. The place was very clean and was great for us as a family of 4! We would love to stay here again if we ever get back to Rome!

Great location

The location could not have been better. Up a huge number of stairs but we were prepared for that, and it wasn't a bit deal. Apartment needs minor maintenance and upkeep, but nothing major. Liked the outside terrace.

Great location and layout for us. Had three rooms with beds, cute kitchen and rooftop terrace. Monica was great answering all our questions about where to park, how to get there and so on.

Great location but not the best place to stay

We booked this rental 9 months in advance because of the location and that it was, a great location right amongst lots of restaurants and shops, and within walking distance to many wonderful touring locations. However this was not the best place to stay. We had many issues that were really hazards: 5 flights of very old stairs in a dark hallway. A low 5'10" walkway, not just an arch, to get to the toilet; a hazard for banging your head on the ceiling. Loose floor tiles that pop out when walking across them and sharp edged, creating a hazard for toe cutting and stubbing in the resulting floor holes. The air conditioner drains right across the rooftop patio and causes a slippery surface. Other issues we encountered: It felt like we were a bother to the property manager who checked us in. He was in a rush and only spent a few minutes with us. We received very little instructions for the place. No welcome book with helpful instructions, like for oven, washing machine, garbage, and stairway lights, which were definitely needed. The bed is very firm. Low water pressure in bathroom. Several minutes for hot water in shower. There is no garbage on the property and you are required to walk it to a station 5 minutes away. Difficult to find what we needed on our own. The good news is that the owner, Monica, was very responsive via texting. I did messenger a number of suggestions so hopefully they get implemented.

Merveilleux séjour à Rome

La propriété est très bien située en plein cœur de l’action de Rome. Près de tout , resto, gelato,tiramisu , attractions, lignes de bus. L’appartement est dans une rue très tranquille ,tout juste à côté du centre historique , la terrasse sur le toit est magique pour prendre l’apéro ou le café … La cuisine est équipé pour cuisiner à la maison mais peu d’espace pour une famille de 5 à la table. sinon les lits sont confortables et c’est très bien . L’air climatisé suffisait à bien tempérée l’appartement même si l’un des deux ne fonctionnait pas . Seulement la salle de bain devient très chaude pendant la journée mais comme nous étions sortis pour visiter c’était un détail . Les marches pour se rendre à l’appartement ne nous on pas gêné, être en hauteur permet d’être plus en silence et profiter de la terrasse. Les communications avec Monica se sont très bien passés . On nous a accueilli à notre arrivée tel que prévu . Je conseille vivement cet appartement pour profiter de Rome .

Great Location and Roof Top Terrace

Had just enough of everything for our family of 5. Really appreciated the two AC units when it was 40C out. Fantastic location but on a quiet side street so you could sleep well but also be around all the action. There are a lot of stairs, but if you are able, the stairs are worth it especially for the roof top terrace in the unit.

Wonderful Location!

We had a wonderful stay in Roma. A spacious apartment with great roof top views for your morning espresso. We were able to walk to most tourist spots, and it is very close to taxi for longer journeys. We loved the neighborhood too. After a busy day in Rome, the neighborhood cafe's feel so cozy. Close to a market too.

Great Location!!

This place was amazing and was so close to many good restaurants and was very central for a lot of the sites to see when in Rome. The stairs are difficult, especially with large suitcases but in the end it worked out great for us!

Great place in superb location!

My family (me + wife and two teenagers) stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Good: -GREAT location-tons if restaurants, bars and Rome attractions. You’re in the heart of Rome! -We each had basically our own private rooms to sleep -the rooftop terrace is nice Bad: -If you are a light sleeper I would not stay here. Being in such a great location means you have noise to deal with in the late hours. Didn’t bother my family or I but wanted to let you know. -There are a lot of stairs to get to the place. Again, not a big deal for us but you should know it before booking. Monica is a great host who really cares for her guests and she was flexible on check-in time allowing us to drop our bags off early. I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely worth a look!

The property is as advertised - great pictures & description! The location is even better...in the heart of Rome, short walks to so much (markets, prime independent shopping street, so many historical sites) -- 15min walk to just about everything (a little longer to the Colosseum, but there are busses/taxi stand/ride share pickup within a block or 2 if walking isn't your thing. There was good internet service for planning your next day(s) or posting all the pics from a full day of adventure -- definitely wouldn't hesitate staying here again!!
