Testaccio apartment in one of the most authentic neighborhoods in Rome
Beautiful and characteristic apartment located in the Testaccio district, one of the most authentic neighborhoods in the historic center of Rome, a stone's throw from Trastevere and Circo Massimo. The property is located on the third floor with elevator inside a wonderful original condominium from 1915. Recently renovated by an architect, the apartment is characterized by a modern style with classic elements such as the beautiful brick ceiling, consisting of a living room with fully equipped kitchenette, a room with sofa bed and TV, a double bedroom and a large bathroom with shower. Near the apartment we find the famous Testaccio market with fresh products every day and a place well known for its street food, the same area is well known for its various restaurants and clubs. Perfect location to visit the historic center of Rome and spend a pleasant short or medium-term stay in the magical Eternal City.
Comfortable stay with elevator, larger shower, and washer/dryer combo. Neighborhood was very local, heard the church bells every day. Short walk to the Mercato as well as nearby local stores that had what i needed, even distilled water for my CPAP machine. Easy checkin process. Driver available for additional fee which was great for ride to airport.

Apartment was just as advertised. Host arranged for transfer to the airport and we would suggest other guests to take advantage of this service because it cost about the same as a taxi but better overall experience. The host responded quickly to all of our questions. We were also provided with two phone numbers to call during business hours and after hours for emergencies, which we fortunately didn’t need! The building has an elevator. The bedroom faces the inner courtyard for quiet sleeping. The building is located in a residential neighborhood, a three minute walk to the Testaccio market, grocery stores, cafes. About a 7 minute walk to the Piramide metro station, with plenty of tram and bus services steps from the apartment. We enjoy exploring the city on foot so the location was perfect for walking along the Tiber. The historic centre of Rome was about a half hour walk, or a few bus stops.
