Een fijn huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi en ver uitzicht. Rustige omgeving. We zijn o.a. naar Leeds castle geweest. Naar Canterbury. Ook Rye is een heel mooi plaatsje en maar 10 minuutjes rijden.

Great place to stay.

The cottage was great. It was very clean and ready for us. We got lost on the way and the "landlady" went out of her way to fetch us on her bicycle to collect us. The weather was not at all nice which spoiled our holiday - I believe the holiday would have been very enjoyable but for the weather.

Prima onderkomen! Genoeg ruimte voor 5 personen. Prachtige uitzichten vanaf de veranda. Met de trein binnen een uur in Londen en genoeg andere dingen te zien en te doen in de omgeving, zoals Rye, het strand, kastelen... Enige minpuntje geen horren voor de ramen. Maar op tijd alles dicht en dan is dat ook opgelost.

wat een fantastische vakantie dat we daar hebben gehad. Opstaan in alle rust en stilte, prachtig uitzicht met de schapen. Super ligging. Voor ieder wat wils. Je kan er gaan fietsen of wandelen in de natuur. Idylische dorpen en kastelen gaan bezoeken. we zijn zelfs met de trein 2 maal naar Londen geweest. Op de trein hebben ze ons goed geholpen en waren heel vriendelijk. Onze gastvrouw en gastheer waren super vriendelijk en hulpzaam. We waren zelfs te vroeg en toch mochten we al in de cottage. Ze hebben ons met al onze uitstappen de weg opgeholpen, niets is teveel om te vragen. Toen wij er waren was het heel warm, ze was zelfs bezorgd om ons en bracht ons nog een extra ventilator. Geweldig gewoon. De cottage is zoals op de foto s. Geweldige bedden, fantastische douche met een goede sterke straal. alles was aanwezig. Wij komen zeker terug. Echt een aanrader.

Erg gezellig, knus huisje met enorm mooi vrij uitzicht! Eigenaresse is erg aardig en heel gastvrij. Er is van alles te doen op het gebied van natuur en cultuur in de omgeving. Ook de zee is binnen 30 minuten te bereiken. Een aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar rust, natuur en cultuur!

A lot of things to see and to do, people easy to speak with, easy to go to the sea. The negative facts are that prices to visits are high, espacially for a family. The positive is that is it a nice country and that old things can be nicely preserved. The steam train between Tenterden and Bodiam is marvellous. The owners are very kind and easy-going.

Twee weken hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de grootste lodge. Het was een waar genoegen. Het huis kwam goed overeen met de foto's en beschrijving, op basis waarvan we reserveerden. De verhuurster was alleraardigst en zeer attent. Ze was er duidelijk op uit haar gasten een plezierig verblijf te bezorgen. En dat is zeker gelukt. Het landschap, de dorpen en stadjes in de omgeving leverden ons een echt vakantiegevoel op. Kent is prachtig.
