「在感恩节这天入住，赶上了酒店的高峰期，入住时间比较晚了转了半天才找到停车位。门口有两个给VIP的停车位，没敢用。酒店的设施还算新，床的摆放方向和电视不一致，有点儿别扭。早餐也因客人较多面包等提供速度不够快，其他还好。」

「This is the perfect location for anyone taking the ferry to NL. The property literally overlooks the ferry terminal. Restaurant food is great.」

「Wonderful room but the best meal you will find anywhere. We chose the full tasting menu which ranged from a warm shrimp salad to ice cream on rhubarb at the end with about five or six other dishes in between. It would be difficult to match in inventiveness, taste and quality what we had this evening with any restaurant in the country.」

「The motel is a bit old with limited electrical outlets in the room and the WiFi is poor. We have to sit outside the room for streaming but the view from the window is spectacular. It’s great the restaurant Lobest Galley is tight next to it.」

「The location is breathtaking, right on the ocean. We shared the large hot tub with our friends. The accommodation was large and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and nice to talk to. Due to the previous weather the beach was inaccessible due to the stairs being washed away. Breakfast is no longer an option at this location but we were provided with coupons for a couple of restaurants in the area, both were excellent, The Clucking Hen, especially.」

「The dinner meals were amazing. I had halibut one night and salmon the next. It was served with fresh vegetables from the garden. I had soup and mussels as appetizers and both were fabulous. The breakfast was very underwhelming, cold frittata and French toast with Aunt Jemima syrup ,no fresh fruit as promised. Our server Pierre was polite, efficient and kind. My room,6a ,had a moldy smell. The a/c filters were caked with dust ( I cleaned them out myself) and the patio door to the outdoor did...

「My stay at the yurt was not the best. We had to arrive before 8:30 which is hard when you are travelling from one place to another, I will say they did accommodate us in being a little late. On the website it says that there is a hot tub available to people who stay there, but when we got there it was an extra charge which nobody had told us. The trail out to the ‘ferry’ is definitely not kept up. I also was lead to believe these ‘yurts’ were in the woods further with more space between them,...

The interior is a well th thought out array of antiques to match the period of the home. Dont miss this gem especially if you're taking the ferry to and from Newfoundland 」
